Objectives
Creation of a unique information environment of the 4 countries, members of the GUAM community (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova) for remote coopertaion in the technical and scientific areas, by means of a distributed system. The system will comprise local technical-scientific servers, a central GUAM server, a server for joint design in machine building area amd analysis of the research results and experiments, as well as a server for remote training, aimed at:
- collaborative work on joint projects of the specialists from Moldova, Ukraine and Caucasus, epecially of the former weapon scientists
- distance education
- training of specialitsts

Impact
Creating the fundaments of the unique information space of the GUAM countries, that represents a set of data banks and databases, technologies for their administration and use, information and telecommunication systems and networks, than function based on common principles, to ensure information co-operation. The project will enable collaborative work of specialists and instructors from GUAM member-states, in areas like remote design of machine building components and distance education.
