Training workshop organised by EXTEND project to provide valuable experience for ICT researchers

FP7 project EXTEND will organise the second round of training workshops for ICT researchers on October 11-12, 2010. The goal of the events is to prepare ICT actors for participation in the most recent call for proposals launched by the EU Framework Program 7 (FP7)

Training workshop will focus on opportunities, procedures, thematic priorities of FP7 ICT Work Programme, which were identified during the consultation workshop and are open within seventh FP7 Call on September 24, 2010:

  • Internet of Services, Software & virtualization (Internet connected objects in WP 2011-2012)
  • Computing Systems
  • ICT for Patient Safety (Patient Guidance Services (PGS), safety record and healthcare information reuse in WP 2011-2012)

Training workshop will be divided into two sessions.

During the first session participants will be provided information on:

  • Financing Opportunities
  • Status and development of priority areas in specific areas of ICT
  • Criteria for participation
  • EU and national Useful Contacts
  • Existing Projects

In the second session participants will receive hands-on developingFP7 proposals:

  • Develop project proposals using their own ideas
  • Discussion of project proposals
  • Evaluation of project proposals
  • Creating successful consortia

Working language - English.

The seminar will be held at Hotel Vila Verde (110 Grenoble str, Chisinau, Moldova)
