The presentations given at the event focused on cloud computing initiatives and their use both for e-government, as well as eInfrastructures.

This training event is useful to Ministries’ representatives from South Eastern Europe that are involved in the decision making process for the development, management and implementation of national e-Infrastructure programs.

FP7 project EXTEND will organise the third round of training workshops for ICT researchers on March 31, 2011.
 

The Meeting aims to raise awareness of the national community in terms of eInfrastructure development in accordance with reagional and European best practices.

A second round of training workshops for ICT researchers will be organised by EXTEND project, between October 11-12 2010.

Out of 152 countries included in the ranking of Internet access speed, Moldova is on the 3rd place. 

Top 7 ICT research priorities were identified as a result of the Consultation Seminar organized in the framework of the EXTEND project. 

In order to enhance and strengthen scientific and technical cooperation in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) between Eastern Europe and Southern Caucasus (EECS) and the European Union, a Consultation Seminar will take place on May 18, 2010 in the framework of the FP7 project EXTEND.
